Mitsubishi HC Capital America’s SDG Division Helps Clients Meet Clean-Energy Goals
Many companies talk about sustainability, energy efficiency and protecting the environment. Here at Mitsubishi HC Capital America, we’re doing something about it.
We’re dedicating additional resources to help clients meet their clean-energy goals through our SDG Division. Built on the foundation of our company’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the division is working to help businesses throughout North America advance SDGs through financing, infrastructure implementation and development of services, with particular focus in the mobility and clean technology spaces.
True cross-border integration
We understand that global emissions and energy efficiency are global problems, and that it’s critical to develop actionable solutions for businesses that operate across borders. For that reason, our SDG division is integrated across North America, offering a multi-national approach and skillset.
It goes far beyond just having people working in SDG, or that we maintain offices in the United States and Canada. Rather, we have created a fully integrated North American based team. Customers can make one call and have one contact; there’s no need to patch together solutions for infrastructure development, energy efficiency, or financing. With shared best practices, resources and partners, we can determine how to get a customer on the path to achieving their goals, quickly and efficiently, wherever they are, wherever they operate and whatever they are seeking to accomplish.
Focus areas
Mitsubishi HC Capital is developing ways to advance the SDGs through financing, investing and services. Our work is committed to fully customizable solutions because we understand there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Clean energy and mobility cross paths in the transportation space. From work truck purchases through implementation of charging infrastructure for dealers, we’re there to fulfill a company’s entire supply chain financing needs. We’re partnering closely with recognized developers, investors, owners, operators and providers of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and solutions. We’re helping companies finance the installation and deployment of a wide spectrum of energy-efficient assets. We’re employing Energy-as-a-Service, Power Purchasing Agreements and other alternative financing options. We’re helping customers navigate and access the complex arena of government funding.
More than financing
Within each area, the SDG division works with an integrated team of partners that can help companies in the design and implementation of programs, structures and software to meet their sustainability goals. This is truly more than financing. The partner network, across all states and provinces, works with clients to help them navigate the complicated matrix of rebates, credits and subsidy programs at the federal, state and provincial level.
Our SDG group allows us to meet customer sustainability needs in totality. Sustainability is now among the top three initiatives for most large corporations. So whether it’s serving as a consultant to an early-stage electric-vehicle OEM looking to build out their dealer network or putting together an energy-as-a-service contract, we know that everything we’re doing is about meeting long-term sustainable development goals. And doing that aligns perfectly with our own corporate mission.
